關於世界海關組織 World Customs Organization, WCO

世界海關組織 (WCO) 是一個獨立的跨國組織，擁有 169 個會員國，成立宗旨為促進海關行政的效率，使得合法的國際貿易蓬勃發展，採取有效行動遏止非法。

WCO 多年來對國際海關程序的統一貢獻良多，其開發並提出國際商品統一分類制度（ Harmonized commodity Description and Coding System ），為各國作為貨品分類以及收取海關稅金之基礎。
